The Penn Review

You can submit up to 3 short stories. Prose submissions should not exceed 2500 words in length.

All submissions are read blind, so please remove names and any other personal information from the title and contents of the document. In your third-person bio, please specify whether your work is fiction or creative nonfiction. 

You can submit up to 10 pieces of visual art. Images should be as high-quality as possible, and mediums should be specified.

All submissions are reviewed blind, so please remove names and any other personal information from the title and contents of the document.

 GUIDELINES:
 

• Please submit up to 3 fiction or creative nonfiction stories of 5000 words or less along with a third-person bio through Submittable.
• The winner will receive $500 and print publication in The Penn Review No. 74.
• All stories are considered for regular publication.
• Simultaneous and multiple submissions are allowed, but please specify them in your cover letter. 
• The entrance fee is $10.
